Description:
Perpetua Humanitas is an association of free people who come together to help one another learn. Perpetua Humanitas helps people pursue their interests in the manner best suited to themselves and that pursuit. Studies are supported by conversation and activities that challenge their current understanding, with the intention of helping them realize a richer, more fulfilling life.

Perpetua Humanitas is open to anyone, regardless of age or educational background, who wants to learn. Those engaged in a pursuit design a course of inquiry with the help of the Senior Fellows with a pedagogical emphasis on radical questioning, discussion, and practicum where appropriate. Fees are mutually agreed upon by the participants. Anyone who wants to have a hand in developing their own pursuit and who is willing to engage in rigorous discourse is welcome.

Perpetua Humanitas does not grant traditional degrees. The Senior Fellows of Perpetua Humanitas are here to help people learn and think, not necessarily to gain certification or employment. Of course, this does not preclude anyone from pursuing such an aim through the design of a course of studies in the Great Books or by crafting a syllabus similar to that found in a traditional college. But Perpetua Humanitas does not itself certify this. The focus of the college is the quest itself, not the externally lauded or commercially profitable fruits of that labor. Pursuits to date have included Architectural & Interior Design, Hospice Care, Novel Writing, Speed & Advanced Reading Techniques, and The Relationship Between Culture & Language.
